Tea

We first met Clare and Michael of Bellevue Teas earlier tin 2011 at an exhibition in London and we were impressed both by their knowledge and their enthusiasm. They have been working in and around the tea industry for years and we have found them wonderful people to work with.

We serve all our teas in bone china cups. Our loose teas are brewed in clear glass teapots so you can see the full effect of the brewing process on the leaves. Our bagged teas are brewed in bone china teapots.

So which is our favourite?

Well, we love The Bellevue Belter which is a Kenyan Black Tea – it tastes like a traditional cup of tea and can be made with milk or with a slice of lemon. The Earl Grey has that fresh taste of bergamot that is unmistakable. And the Jasmine tea has a wonderful fragrance. Our Darjeeling is the nearest thing to champagne when you’re drinking tea and our Lapsang Souchong is out of this world. If you like a caffeine-free tea, our Roibos is exceptionally tasty.

Yet it’s the Nilgiri Hills Organic White Tea that has that extra something. It has such a delicate and fresh taste that we find we drink it with nothing added. So, if you’re going to try one tea you’ve never tasted before, try this one.
